This evening will feature Nicholas Monroe, founder of the Paint Joy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing art into our cities to spark joy, creativity, and community engagement. Through the foundation’s work, Nicholas helps create public art experiences that inspire people to reconnect with their creativity and one another.

The evening will begin with a short interview with Nicholas, where we’ll explore his vision behind the Paint Joy Foundation and how art can be used to build more vibrant, connected communities. Afterward, we’ll transition into a guided group painting collaboration experience.

Each participant will start with their own canvas, but the playful twist is that throughout the evening, you’ll be invited to add to one another’s paintings. This creates a fun and interactive environment where creativity flows freely while we also practice healthy communication, boundaries, and collaboration in a relaxed and supportive setting.

This gathering is part of the Liberated Journey wellness community, where many people are intentionally stepping back from alcohol-centered social environments in order to experience deeper connection, care for their nervous systems, and enjoy social spaces that feel energizing and authentic.
